As announced in February 2026, the FMC Board of Directors has authorized the exploration of strategic options, including but not limited to, the sale of the company to unlock shareholder value and ensure that the growth and core portfolios are best positioned for long-term success. FMC's four new active ingredients, along with its broader development pipeline, are unique and transformative. The company believes there is significant opportunity to enhance shareholder value by accelerating growth and delivering enhanced financial results with additional investment in these technologies.
