Founded in 1848, Lazard is a global financial advisory and asset management firm with operations in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. Lazard provides advice on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and capital solutions, restructuring and liability management, geopolitics, and other strategic matters, as well as asset management and investment solutions to institutions, corporations, governments, partnerships, family offices, and high net worth individuals. We focus primarily on two business segments: Financial Advisory and Asset Management. We believe that the mix of our activities across business segments, geographic regions, industries and investment strategies helps to diversify and stabilize our revenue stream.
We advise leaders on their most important financial and strategic matters, serving as a trusted advisor whose mission is to ensure the best result for our clients. Our Financial Advisory business offers corporate, partnership, institutional, government, sovereign and individual clients across the globe a wide array of advisory services including mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) advisory, strategic capital solutions, shareholder advisory, sovereign advisory, geopolitical advisory, restructuring and liability management, capital raising and placement, and other strategic matters.
